assembly and operating instructions step by step to get the LANDMANN barbecue
you have just purchased ready for use. In addition, we provide you with important
notices about how to use and handle the barbecue safely and how to look after it.
Allow sufficient time to assemble it correctly. Before you start, clear a flat work
surface measuring roughly two to three square metres, remove all parts from the
surface

INTENDED USE
■ This device is intended to be used to prepare food that can be
grilled. It is designed for use outdoors.
■ Other uses or uses which extend beyond this are not permit-
ted. This applies in particular to the following possible misuses:
○ Do not use the barbecue for heating.
○ Do not use the barbecue to heat up substances and materials,
apart from food.
○ Never use the barbecue as a built-in device.
■ The barbecue is designed exclusively for personal and not for
commercial use.
■ Use the barbecue only for the specified purpose and as descri-
bed in these assembly and operating instructions. Any other
use is deemed to be improper.
■ The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect hand-
ling, damage or attempted repairs. The same applies to normal
wear and tear.
SAFETY NOTICES
■ WARNING! Do not use indoors! Only operate outdoors! There
is a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
■ NOTICE: The barbecue must not be used if it is deformed or
defective. This must be checked before each use.
■ WARNING! National and local regulations, such as permits,
operation, safety distances and others, must be complied with.
■ Choose the location for setting up the barbecue so that no
combustible materials or substances are located nearby or can
get to it. Never set up the barbecue below branches or cano-
pies. The minimum distance from combustible materials and
surrounding surfaces has to be 3 m.
■ WARNING! Keep children and pets away.
Never leave the barbecue unattended when it is burning or still
hot. In particular, make sure that no children or persons who
are not capable of correctly recognising or reacting to possible
dangers come near the hot barbecue.
