Receiver
The receiver is switched on by pressing the HIGH or LOW
button. After releasing the button, the receiver switches off
after a short time.
Transmitter Switch OFF
Press the on/off switch for longer than 1.5 seconds.
ALT and SOLID LEDs light up briefly and the transmitter
switches off.
The transmitter switches off automatically after 90 minutes.
The Override mode can be activated if the transmitter is
required for a longer period of time
Override mode:
•
After switching on, press the on/off button twice within one
second.
•
You will hear a short confirmation tone that Override mode
is activated.
•
The SOLID LED also flashes briefly. If the SOLID function is
selected in Tone mode, the ALT LED takes over this function.
Voltage monitoring Battery
If the battery voltage falls below approx. 6 V when the
transmitter is switched on, the SOL LED flashes briefly three
times every 60 seconds to indicate this. In TONE mode,
this function is performed by the ALT LED. When 5 V is
reached, the transmitter switches off automatically.
Battery / Battery
Disconnect all measuring leads before changing the
battery.
Switch off the unit.
Ensure the polarity is correct. The operating time is drasti-
cally reduced by using inferior batteries or rechargeable
batteries.
Fire hazard! Risk of explosion

Never use damaged, defective or deformed battery packs
or batteries. Never open, damage or drop battery packs
and batteries.
•
Never charge battery packs and batteries in the vicinity of
acids and inflammable materials.
•
Incorrect charging or charging outside the permissible
temperature range can destroy the battery pack or battery
and increase the risk of fire.
•
Protect battery packs and batteries against heat and fire.
Never place them on radiators or expose them to strong
sunlight for extended periods.
•
Allow them to cool down after prolonged use.
•
Do not bridge short circuiting contacts of the battery pack or
battery with metal parts.
•
Battery packs and batteries must be packaged (plastic bag,
box) for disposal, transport and storage, or the contacts must
be covered.
Battery packs and batteries must not be allowed to
become wet. Protect battery packs and batteries against
humidity and moisture!
Damage or incorrect use can cause harmful vapours and
liquids to leak from the battery pack or battery.
The

the respiratory tract. Immediately provide a supply of fresh
air and seek medical advice if symptoms persist!
If liquid leaks from a battery pack or battery, make sure
that it does not come into contact with the skin or eyes! If
contact occurs, rinse the affected area with water and seek
medical advice!
Never use battery packs and batteries at temperatures
outside the permissible range.
Maintenance and care
The test probe can be replaced using the bayonet shutter.
The device is maintenance-free. If. in spite of careful manu-
facturing and testing processes, the device becomes faulty,
a repair by Würth MASTERSERVICE should be arranged.

local Würth agency for a hardcopy.
Use only genuine Würth accessories and spare
parts.
Cleaning
Clean with a dry cloth only. Some cleaning agents
damage plastic or other insulated parts. Keep the device
clean and dry, free from oil and grease..
Storage
Store the machine in a dry place out of the reach of
children.
Electrical power tools, accessories and packaging should
be sorted and submitted to an environmentally-sound
recycling facility.
