3.1.2 Personal Protective Gear
To minimize health hazards, wearing personal protective gear is required when
handling the unit. The following personal protective gear must always be worn
when handling the unit:
When cleaning or performing maintenance or repair work on the unit, the
following specific personal protective gear is required:
Protective footwear
For protection from falling parts and to prevent slipping.
Protective gloves
To protect the hands from rubbing, abrasions, cuts, or
more serious injuries. To prevent burns when touching
hot coolant.
Protective eyewear
To protect the eyes against flying parts or splashing
coolant.
