POWER
Switch
Use to switch the power to ON or OFF.
TIME
DISPLAY
Displays either the total elapsed playing time of the
disc being played or, the time elapsed since the
start of the track being played. It does not function
during the PAUSE mode.
. Track No. Display
Displays the number of the track being played.
. Reverse Button (SR/FR)
Press to quickly return the optical pick-up to an
previous
point on the disc. A hard-soft action
system is used, so pressing this button strongly
will activate FAST REVERSE (FR).
. PLAY
Button
Press to play back a disc.
. Forward Button (SF/FF)
Press to quickly advance the optical pick-up toa
later point on the disc hard-soft action system is
used, so pressing this button strongly will activate
FAST FORWARD (FF).
. PROGRAM
MODE Switch
Press this mode before pressing the PLAY button
to play only the memorized (programmed) tracks. It
does not function when no program has been en-
tered.
. Memory Switches
Use the INC (Increment) and SET switches for
memorizing the desired programs.
. Intro-Play Button
Press to consecutively play back the initial portion
(about 8—10 seconds) of each track.
TIME PLAY Switch
Set to ON to use a timer to start playback at an ap-
pointed hour as a wake-up alarm, etc. The play-
back begins when the power is switched on.
Program Memory Indicators
The indicator of the program being played flickers
slowly; that of a program that can be memorized
flickers quickly; and that of a program being memo-
rized lights up.
