ASSEMBLY
INSTALLING THE DISCHARGE CHUTE
See Figure 8.
Position the snow blower so it is resting on its wheels in its
upright position.
z Place the discharge chute facing forward onto the snow
blower.
z Align the holes of the chute to the holes in the collar.
z Insert a screw into each hole in the chute and tighten.
Do not overtighten.
INSTALLING THE CHUTE DEFLECTOR
See Figure 9.
z Place the chute deflector so it is upside down and its
handle is facing forward as shown.
z Align the holes and insert an adjustment screw from inside
the main discharge chute.
z Place a plastic washer between the main chute and chute
deflector.
z Insert the screw through the hole in the chute deflector.
z Thread the chute adjusting knob onto the screw.
z Repeat steps for other side.
NOTE: Once both sides are attached, raise the chute
deflector to the desired position and hand tighten the
adjusting knobs.
INSTALLING THE LOWER HANDLE
See Figure 10.
z Slide the power cord retainer onto the lower handle.
NOTE: Be sure the eye for the chute control rod is facing

either side of the handle. Consider which side of the snow
blower will be closer to the power source to help control
the cord in your work area.
z Align the hole at the bottom of the lower handle to the
hole on the tube frame.
z Insert a screw through the hole of the frame and through
the lower handle.
z Thread the adjustment knob onto the screw. Hand tighten.
