SAFETY
SAFETY DEFINITIONS
The words DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, and NOTICE
are used throughout this manual to highlight important
information. Make sure that the meanings of this safety in-
formation is known to all who operate, perform maintenance
on, or are near the generator.
This safety alert symbol appears with
most safety statements. It means at-
tention, become alert, your safety is
involved! Please read and abide by the
message that follows the safety alerts
symbol.
DANGER
which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious in-
jury.
WARNING
which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious
injury.
CAUTION
which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moder-
ate injury.
NOTICE
Indicates a situation which can cause
damage to the generator, personal property, and/or
the environment, or cause the equipment to operate
improperly.
NOTE:
Indicates a procedure, practice or condition
that should be followed for the generator to function in
the manner intended.

Follow all safety information contained in this user's manual
as well as the information on the product labeling.

personal injury hazard.

of injury, user must read and understand
operator's manual before using this product.

Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the power plug from the outlet.

Wear Eye Protection. Always wear eye pro-
tection with side shields marked to comply
with ANSI Z87.1.
Wear Mask.
Wear Protective Gloves.
Wear Protective Footwear.
Before working with your tool, make sure that
no power cords will be damaged.
Keep Hands and Feet Away. Keep hands and
feet away from auger and chute.
DANGER! Do not use hands to unclog chute.
Shut off motor before unclogging discharge
chute. Do not walk infront of running ma-
chine. Do not direct discharge at bystander.
Wet Conditions Alert. To reduce the risk of
electric shock, do not expose to rain and
store indoors.
Avoid discharging material against a wall or
obstruction. Keep all bystanders, children,
and pets at least 100 ft. away.
Ricochet. Thrown objects can ricochet and
result in personal injury or property damage.
Allow all moving parts to come to a complete
stop and disconnect from the power source
before attempting to clear a clog or service
the unit.
Keep hands away from impeller.
DANGER! Avoid injury from rotating auger –
Keep hands, feet, and clothing away.
Do not open or remove safety shields while
motor is running.
Always ensure that other people and pets
remain at a safe distance from the product
when it is in operation. In general, children
must not come near the area where the
product is.
