INSTALLING THE UPPER HANDLE
ASSEMBLY
See Figure 11.
z Align the bottom hole of the upper handle with the top
hole of the lower handle.
NOTICE
Do not allow the starter cable to be-
come pinched or trapped when aligning the handles.
z Insert a screw through the aligned holes.
z Thread the adjustment knob onto the screw. Hand tighten.
z Repeat steps for the other side.
INSTALLING THE DISCHARGE CHUTE
CONNECTING ROD
See Figure 12.
z Remove the screw on the chute rod connector of the
snow blower.
z Insert the lower chute adjustment rod and align the holes
on the connector and tab.
z Reinstall and tighten the screw securely.
z Remove the screw and nut in the top of the lower chute
connector rod.
z Insert the upper chute adjustment handle through the
eyelet in the lower handle and into the lower rod.
z Align the holes and reinstall the screw and nut. Tighten
securely.
z Once assembly is complete, secure the power cord from
the switch to the snow blower to the right side of the lower
handle tube with the two cord clips.
