The device has a built-in battery which is not accessible to the user and which can be re-
charged using the power supply unit supplied. It cannot be replaced by the user, who must
contact Farmamed.
• Turn off the device when connecting the USB cable for charging.
• Do not turn on the device when the USB cable is inserted.
• Do not use the unit while recharging.
• Use only the micro-USB cable provided by the manufacturer.
• Use only the chargers for the main unit specified in the "Product specifications" section of
this manual.
• Before first use, the unit must be charged. When using it for the first time, fully charge the
rechargeable battery for at least 30 minutes.
• Danger of ingestion! If the device is broken, children could swallow the rechargeable
battery and suffocate.
• Risk of explosion! DO NOT throw the device with the battery into a fire, even if it is
exhausted.
• Do not disassemble, open or crush the internal battery.
• If the battery of the main unit leaks, wear protective gloves and dispose of the device.
• If the liquid from the rechargeable battery comes into contact with your skin or eyes,
rinse the affected areas with water and seek medical attention.
• The rechargeable battery must be correctly charged before use. Always follow the man-
ufacturer's instructions and the information provided in this user manual to charge the
battery correctly (see section "Preparing the device").
• To achieve the longest possible life cycle, fully charge the battery pack at least once a
month.
