Mode control
Turn the knob clockwise to "HIGH HEAT" tbr heating with
highest tim speed. Set to "MED HEAT" lbr heating with me-
dium tim speed. Turn to "LOW HEAT" lbr heating with the
lowest tim speed. Models designated "WE" only use electric
heating elelnents. Heat Pumps, "WY" models, use the com-
pressor lbr heating, automatically switching m electric heating
elements only when the outside temperature reaches 43°E
Turn the knob counterclockwise to "FAN ONLY" tbr medium
speed without cooling or heating. Turn m "HIGH COOLY tbr
cooling with the highest fan speed. Turn to "MED COOL"
lbr cooling with medium fan speed. Set m "LOW COOL" Ibr
cooling with the lowest fan speed. Turn the knob in either
direction to "OFF" to turn the unit completely off:
NOTE: The lhn will cycle with the compressor or the heat-
ing element and will not run constantly when in the heating
mode.

- turn clockwise to set a cooler temperature, counterclockwise
to make it warlner.
