6. Fault finding
Warning
Before removing the control box cover, make sure that the power supply has been switched
off for at least 5 minutes.
The pumped liquid may be scalding hot and under high pressure. Before any removal or
dismantling of the pump, the system must therefore be drained, or the isolating valves on
either side of the pump must be closed.
Fault
Both pumps are running.
The red and green indicator lights
on both pumps are on.
The master pump (1) is running.
The red and green indicator lights
are on.
The light in the control panel of
the slave pump (2) is off.
The slave pump (2) is running.
The green indicator light is on.
The light in the control panel of
the master pump (1) is off.
Note: No fault indication.

7. Disposal
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest
Grundfos company or service workshop.
Cause
No communication between the
two pumps.
The pumps are running as two
single-head pumps.
No power supply to the slave pump
(2), or the slave pump (2) is
defective.
No power supply to the master
pump (1), or the master pump (1)
is defective.
Remedy
Check the following:
• The connection cable is intact.
• The plugs of the connection
cable are placed in the sockets
(T).

in the general installation and
operating instructions.
Check the power supply and the
operation of the slave pump (2).
Check the power supply and the
operation of the master pump (1).
