How to hold the CD
e Do not touch the underside of the disc. Label side
e Do not make scratches on the disc.
` @ Do not bend disc.
e When not in use, keep CD in the case.
Do not use irregularly shaped CDs
Do not leave discs in the following places:
e Direct suntight
e Near car heaters
e Dirty, dusty and damp areas
e Seats and dashboards

Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe from the center outward.

Caution on New Discs
A new disc may have rough edges on its inner and outer
perimeter. These may cause malfunction.

Notes on CD-R Disc
A playable CD-R disc is only a CD-R disc on which sound was recorded.
e Some recorded CD-R discs by using CD recorder are not playable because of their characteristic, or scratches or dirt on
the discs.
e You can not play a CD-R disc that has not been finalized.
e ACD-RW disc is not playable.
e MP3 file, video CD, CD-ROM and CD-EX disc are not playable.
e Be sure to observe the handling instructions of CD-R disc.
e Do not apply a disc that has a label printed by a commercially available label printer.
