1_SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Disconnect the battery from the charger base of the machine
before changing accessories, servicing or performing any
maintenance.
Maintain the machine and battery in good condition.
Check alignment of moving parts on a regular basis.
Replace or repair damaged parts.
Use an authorised service agent and parts recommended by
the manufacturer.
Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the
warranty.
Make sure the machine is switched off before installing the
battery.
Maintain the machine, battery and charger for best and
safest performance.
Wear appropriate clothing for the job.
Never wear ties, watches, rings and loose jewellery and
remember to wear a hat if necessary.
Check and keep your work area tidy before using the
machine.
Check that the battery is correctly inserted into the handle of
the machine.
Make sure that the machine has no loose or incorrectly fitted
parts before starting the machine.
Avoid accidental starting, always store the machine with the
switch in the 'OFF' position.
Protect your eyes with safety glasses.
Make sure the floor is not slippery, wear safety shoes or
boots.
Please note that this machine does not need to be connected
to the mains.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the
working area.
Do not use the machine where liquids, solids or gas are ignited.
Keep the release trigger button in the locked position
- Do not use the machine for a task it is not designed to perform.
Do not operate the machine when tired or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
Do not wet the machine, battery or charger, or use in damp
or wet locations.-Keep the machine, battery and charger in
a safe, dry, childproof place where the temperature will not
exceed 40°C.
2_INSTRUCTIONS FOR START-UP
Before adjusting or checking the tool, make sure that it is
switched off and that the battery has been extracted.
PLACING OR FIXING THE TOOL
Read these hazard alerts and instructions entirely.
If you do not comply with the following hazard alerts
and instructions, this may cause, among other things,
fire and/or severe injury.
Deploy the flap with the image of the apparatus and keep it
open while you are reading the handling instructions.
Regulatory use
The device is designed to tighten and loosen screws, bolts or
nuts more effectively and quickly.
Installation or extraction of the battery
cartridge
Always switch off the tool before inserting or extracting the
battery cartridge.
To extract the battery cartridge, remove it from the tool at the
same time as sliding the buttons located at the sides of the
cartridge.
To insert the battery cartridge, align the flaps located at
the battery cartridge with the slot of the compartment and
insert it. Insert it completely until the gets firmly fastened and
becomes locked with a click. Otherwise, the cartridge may
accidentally get loose from the tool and cause injuries to the
user or any other person staying nearby.
Do not force the battery cartridge to enter. If it does not enter
smoothly, this means that you are not installing it correctly.
Operation of the switch (Fig. 1 and 2)
Before inserting the battery cartridge into the tool, always
make sure that the slide switch 1 is working properly.
To prevent accidental operation of the operating switch (1), a
locking lever is provided which, when in position (2) in (Fig.
2), prevents the switch from being operated. On the other
hand, when the locking lever is in the unlocked position (3)
the switch makes contact and the machine starts to operate.
Switching on the machine and led light
(Fig. 3 and 4)
Once the trigger of the machine is available
for use by pressing and using the led light.
Press the switch to turn on the lamp. The light stays
on as long as the switch is pressed. The light turns off
automatically about 10 seconds after the lever is released.
WARNING: When the tool is overheated, the indicator light
flashes.
Cool the tool completely before using it again.
NOTICE: Use a dry cloth to wipe dirt from the lamp lens. Be
careful not to scratch the lamp lens, as this may reduce the
illumination.
Changing the direction of rotation
(Fig. 5 and 4)
Be careful when changing the direction of
rotation of the machine and always do so
when the machine is disconnected from the
battery and not in operation.
Always check the direction of rotation before using the tool.
Use the reversing lever only after the tool has come to a
complete stop. Changing the direction of rotation before the
tool has stopped may damage the tool.
ASSEMBLING
Adapter installation method (Fig. 7)
Always use the correct socket size for the bolt/nut.
An
incorrect
socket
inconsistent torque and/or damage to the bolt/nut.
To install the socket, push it onto the socket adapter until it
clicks into place. To remove the socket, simply pull it out.
CHARGER/BATTERY
The SET is provided with two new lithium ion batteries which
arrive prepared ready to work; they must however overcome
a period of approximately 3 charges and discharges, to
achieve full performance.
When the battery is new, it is sent in a low charge
condition. Charge the battery completely before using
your tool..
Assembly
To extract the battery from the machine, press stops at the
battery .Do not touch the metal terminals. Take the charger
base and connect it to the electric grid.
