Product usage
Door opening/closing
•
Never open the door by force while the appliance is running; this could damage the locking
system. If you have to open the door while the machine is running, turn off the power
supply first and wait at least two minutes for the door locking mechanism to unlock.
•
To open the door, grasp the door handle, squeeze the inner handle and pull the door. Close
the door by pushing it closed until it clicks into place. Do not push too hard.
Emergency opening of the door
•
If you are unable to open the door in the event of a power failure or other special
circumstances, you can use the locking lever located near the drain pump to proceed
with the emergency opening of door.
Notes:
•
Do not do this when the washing machine is running normally.
•
Before doing anything, make sure that the inner drum has stopped rotating,
that the temperature has cooled and that the water level is lower than the
laundry load. If the water level is higher than the laundry load, drain the
water through the drain hose (if applicable) or by gently unscrewing the filter
(shown in the figure).
•
Procedure: Open the drain pump door cover and lower the locking lever using
a tool to open the door.
Before the first wash cycle
To remove any of the residual water used during testing by the manufacturer, we recommend
that you run a short cycle without any load.
1.
Open the water tap.
2.
Close the door.
3.
Pour a small amount of washing product (approx. 30 ml) into the main wash compartment
of the dispenser drawer.
4.
Choose a short program and start the cycle.
