USING THE APPLIANCE
Mincing meat
It is recommended to use meat from which the bones, nerves and fat have
been removed: bones, in particular, may cause malfunctions and damage the
appliance and, therefore, must necessarily be removed before processing.
Cut the meat into blocks compatible with the diameter of the grinder body:
the ideal size is 20x20x60 mm.
Place a container at the front to collect the minced meat.
Start the appliance by pressing "ON" on key (4).
Insert the meat through the grinder body inlet and push it through with
moderate force, using the pusher (6). Do not insert fingers inside the grinder
body: risk of potentially serious injury
Now proceed with the following steps, possibly even replacing the die with a
smaller-sized version for a finer mince.
At the end, stop the appliance by pressing "OFF" on key (4).
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and proceed with cleaning.
Puréeing tomato
San Marzano and Roma tomatoes are the most suitable type for tomato
purées: other types, if properly ripened, can nonetheless provide excellent
results. Since the appliance is equipped with a device to separate the skins
and seeds, there is no need to boil and peel the tomatoes.
Place a container under the cone/sieve unit to collect the puréed product.
Place another container at the front under the tip of the unit to collect the
waste (skins and seeds), which can possibly be reprocessed for further
extraction.
Wash the tomatoes in plenty of water and bicarbonate of soda.
Chop the tomatoes into parts compatible with the diameter of the grinder
body inlet, either into halves or quarters depending on their size
Start the appliance by pressing "ON" on key (4).
Insert the tomatoes through the grinder body inlet and push them through
with moderate force, using the pusher (6). Do not insert fingers inside the
grinder body: risk of potentially serious injury
