To remove the grinder body (7), press and hold the release button (2) while
turning the grinder body counter-clockwise by 45 degrees.
Do not attempt to release the grinder body without pressing key (2):
mechanical, often irreversible damage may occur.
Following disassembly, the parts must be immediately cleaned as described
in the following chapter: food residue causes bad odours and contamination
by microorganisms that may be harmful to human health and make cleaning
more difficult if left to dry.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The product does not require maintenance, or rather the replacement of consumable
parts or scheduled overhaul. As a rule, it is sufficient to clean the metal parts at regular
intervals using common dish soap applied with a sponge, or, if necessary, using a soft-
bristle brush, followed by thorough rinsing. All cleaning must absolutely be carried out
with the power cord disconnected and, before reconnecting, you must ensure that all
parts are completely dry.
Always avoid aggressive detergents, abrasive sponges, steel wool or other chemical
cleaning agents. The parts should preferably be washed in relatively warm water to
help soften any build-up of food and to maximise the efficacy of the detergent; use a
damp cloth to clean the motor body.
To avoid the formation of stains, which are merely unsightly, the parts should be dried
after cleansing using a soft cloth with paper towel. Pay particular attention to the sharp
edges of certain accessories.
