7.7 Inserting the replaceable protective window
A black copper shield protects the sensor head's optics against fumes and spatter generated by the welding
process. This spatter protector has a transparent, replaceable protective window that has to be replaced
after being subjected to fumes or spatter.
7.8 Setting the working distance
The working distance is the distance required between the underside of the sensor head without the spatter
protector and the workpiece. The distances for various sensor models are shown below.

Remove the protective film from both sides of the

Carefully insert the replaceable protective window.

Check if the replaceable protective window sits
