16 Adjusting the zoom
The microscope optics have a zoom range from 50x to
1000x.
In the software the zoom range can be changed by setting
the display ratio from 100% to another value, e.g. 50% or
200%.
NOTICE! When changing the zoom range, the focus may
also need to be adjusted. (see also "Focusing the object")
17 Focusing the object
For optimal image sharpness, the observation object must
be brought into the focus range of the digital camera. To do
this, proceed as follows:
1.
Set the required position in the holder for the digital
microscope and correct it slightly afterwards if neces-
sary.
2.
Set the desired magnification setting in the software
(e.g. Display Ratio 100%).
3.
Now turn the zoom wheel until the image appears
sharp on the monitor.
18 Recording
Here you select your digital microscope and estab-
lish a connection.
Take photo
Record video
Set resolution (e.g. to 1920x1080 for the best pic-
ture quality)
Opens the save folder specified under settings.
