emergency battery backup strap
For emergency use only, in case of a power outage .
Batteries are not to be used for normal operation of the bed .
STEP 1
Disconnect the Power Supply from the input power cord .

STEP 2
Connect the Battery Backup Strap to
the (2) 9 Volt Alkaline batteries .
Do not mix brand name Batteries .

Connect the end of the Battery Backup Strap to the input
power cord that is attached to the control box .

STEP 4
Use the remote control to return the base to a flat position .
Note: Detach the Battery Backup Strap after the emergency is
over, as the system will continue to draw power from the batteries
even if not in use .
