a 2 LR6 (AA) dry cells. A 12V DC charger (See
Optional Accessories) can be used as a dual power
source; this will not apply a charge to the dry cells
while fitted.

now connected to the instrument with rechargeable
batteries in it (the switch is set to NiCd/NiMh) then the
batteries will start to recharge. Allow 14 – 16 hours to
fully charge a rechargeable battery.
Do NOT attempt to recharge alkaline cells, over
heating would occur and the instrument may be
damaged.
When the switch is set to NiCd/NiMh, only fit
rechargeable cells.
