Volume adjustment and sound setting
Mute
Cockpit area
To mute the volume
briefl y press the ON/OFF button 1.

Cabin area
To mute the source volume

press the MUTE button 8.
To cancel muting

The mute function has no effect during
microphone operation.
Sound setting
Cockpit area
The sound setting for the cockpit area is
performed at the connected radio. For this
purpose, read the operating instructions of
the radio.
Cabin area
To set the bass

press the BASS +/– button 3 accord-
ingly.
To set the treble
u
press the TREBLE +/– button 4 ac-
cordingly.
Microphone announcements
Microphone
announcements
You can connect two microphones to the
CBA47. The inputs (chamber D) are each
fi tted with a switch input.
General
Microphone 1 (driver microphone) has pri-
ority over Microphone 2 (passenger micro-
phone).
Even if the CBA47 is switched off, you can
switch the device on and off using micro-
phone 1.
Microphone announcements are made in
the cabin area.
During an announcement with microphone
1, the selected source is muted. It is not
possible to change the source.
The volume of the microphone announce-
ment is adjusted with the buttons VOLUME
CABIN +/– :.
The adjusted volume is saved.
If a microphone is deactivated, the device
changes back to its original state.
Mix mode
Microphone 2 allows you to perform a mix
mode in the cabin area using the selected
source (karaoke function).

Select the desired playback source:
radio, AUX or video.
u
Switch on microphone 2.
(Microphone 1 must be switched off)
u
Adjust the microphone volume with the
buttons VOLUME CABIN +/– :.
