Do not use the appliance to pick up toxic materials (chlorine bleach,
ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
10. Before vacuuming, remove any large objects from the floor or
cleaning surface in order to prevent damage to the filter.
11. Always check the power cable before use. The power cable and
the power plug should be in a good condition and must not be
damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
12. Do not extend the power cable beyond the red mark.
13. Do not place the power cable near hot surfaces, or over sharp
objects. Do not place heavy objects on the power cable. Place the
power cable in such a way that no one will step on it or trip over it.
Make sure the power cable is not touching a hot surface.
14. Do not pull or carry the appliance by the power cable, use the power
cable as a handle or pull the power cable around edges or corners.
Avoid running the appliance over the power cable.
15. Ensure the appliance is switched off before unplugging.
16. Do not unplug by pulling on the power cable. To unplug, grasp the
power plug, not the power cable and gently pull the power plug
from the power socket.
17. Use only electrical safety approved extension cords.
18. Hold the power plug when rewinding the power cable. To prevent
accidental injury, do not allow the power plug to whip when
rewinding.
19. Do not handle or operate the appliance with wet hands. Follow
electrical safety precautions at all times.
20. To prevent electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance, power
cable or power plug into water or any other liquids.
21. Do not use the machine to vacuum water or liquids. Use only on
dry, indoor surfaces.
22. To prevent electrical shock, do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors
or on wet surfaces.
23. Extreme caution should be exercised when using the appliance on
stairs.
24. Never clean the vacuum cleaner or any of the electrical parts,
especially the electrical connections with water or liquid cleaners.
25. Do not attempt to change the attachments while the appliance
is plugged into the power supply. First switch off and remove
the power plug from power supply. Use only the manufacturer's
recommended accessories.
26. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before
connecting the hose to the unit.
