Precautions

2. This kit is only available for the CHASING M2 PRO and must be used with a CHASING
docking station and adapter box (or control console). For more information about the
docking station and adapter box (or control console), see the user manuals.
3. Before you install or connect the CHASING USBL KIT, ensure that the ROV and the
adapter box (or control console) are disconnected from the power supply. Before you
use the ROV underwater, ensure that the connectors of all connection cables are
plugged in place and the nuts are fastened.
4. To use the positioning feature, download an offline map from the app.
5. If the transmitter is blocked by the ROV, the transmission of acoustic wave signals is
affected, leading to inaccurate positioning results. To prevent this, observe the
orientation of the transmitter underwater when you use the USBL kit.
6. To ensure accurate positioning results, ensure that the receiver for the USBL kit is used
at a depth of 1 to 1.5 meters underwater.
7. Before you use the kit, inspect the unit and ensure that the ports are dry and clean. Salt
and moisture may cause corrosion of the connectors. If the connectors are covered in
wet stains, use fresh water to rinse the connectors and then use paper towels or cotton
balls to absorb moisture in the connectors.
