Application
The Leister LHS 210 and 410 series air heaters are designed for installation in machines, systems or devices and are
built for continuous industrial operation. They are suitable for various applications and processes such as:
different drying and heating processes
Shrinking and welding of packaging films and molded parts
Heating continuous furnaces and containers
Activating and dissolving solvent-free adhesives and hot melt adhesives
Sterilization of packaging materials such as bottles, corks and containers
Separating and melting synthetic threads and fabrics
Soldering processes on thin sheet metal parts
Accelerating mixing processes and dissolving foams that arise during mixing or during filling processes
Welding thermoplastics
Removing the plastic pressed ridge
Generating gloss on plastic surfaces
The values specified in the operating instructions for the max. ambient temperature, minimum air volume, max. air
outlet temperature, max. air pressure (overpressure) and max. air inlet temperature must always be observed. See
operating instructions, "Technical data" chapter.
Due to the numerous applications in various processes, there are hazards involved in handling heated materials.
Therefore, good ventilation must always be ensured when working. As a rule, the manufacturers' material safety data
sheets must be read and their instructions followed.
