• Mix the espresso machine cleaner with hot water and im-
merse the strainers and portafilters
Cleaning the appliance (includes 207598, 207642, 207659)
• Clean the portafilter holder and group with a damp cloth.
• Thoroughly clean the faucets and nozzles to avoid sediment.
Weekly cleaning
Cleaning the group
• Place the sieve supplied with the appliance in the portafilter.
• Pour a tablespoon of detergent intended for cleaning coffee
machines into the portafilter.
• Place the portafilter in the group you want to clean.
• Simultaneously press buttons 1 and 5 to start the cleaning
process. During cleaning the LEDs of both buttons flash.
• When cleaning is complete, the LEDs will turn off. The device
will automatically switch to normal operating mode.
• Remove the strainer from the portafilter.
Cleaning coasters and trays (includes 207598, 207642,
207659)
• Remove the plastic grids on the cup warmer and the metal
tray grid under the groups.
• Remove the tray under the group.
• Clean the grids and trays with a damp cloth and a small
amount of detergent for washing machines.
Cleaning the grounds container (includes 207598, 207642,
207659)
• After removing the tray located under the group, you will gain
access to the grounds container. Clean the tank with a brush.
Make sure the drain is not blocked by coffee grounds.
Cleaning the appliance (includes 207598, 207642, 207659)
• Clean the water filter regularly (at least once every two
weeks) by following the instructions that come with it.

Weekly cleaning
Cleaning the group - automatic models
• Place the sieve supplied with the appliance in the portafilter.
• Place the portafilter in the group you want to clean.
• With the appliance turned off, press the power button and
button 3 at the same time to turn it on. This button configura-
tion will start the cleaning process. During cleaning the LEDs
of both buttons flash.
• When cleaning is complete, the LEDs will turn off and the
device will automatically switch to normal operating mode.
• Remove the strainer from the portafilter.
• Run water through the group 2-3 times to rinse it.
Cleaning the group- semi-automatic models
• Place the supplied blind sieve in the portafilter.
• Place the portafilter in the group you want to clean.
• Press the button above the group you want to clean to activate
its cleaning process.
• Press the button above this group again to stop cleaning.
• Repeat the above steps until the water coming out of the
group is completely clean and free of detergent.
• Remove the blind strainer and fit the normal one back into
the portafilter. Place the portafilter in the group.
• Run water through the group 2-3 times to rinse it.
Maintenance
• Check the operation of the appliance regularly to prevent se-
rious accidents.
• If you see that the appliance is not working properly or that
there is a problem, stop using it, switch it off and contact the
supplier.
• All maintenance, installation and repair work must be car-
ried out by specialised and authorised technicians, or recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
Transportation and Storage
• Before storage, always make sure that the appliance has
been disconnected from the power supply and completely
cooled down.
• Store the appliance in a cool, clean and dry place.
• Never place heavy objects on the appliance as this could
damage it.
• Do not move the appliance while it is under operation. Dis-
connect the appliance from power supply when moving and
hold it at the bottom.
• Special care must be taken when moving or transporting the
machine due to its heavy weight. With at least 2 persons or
using a cart. Move the machine slowly, carefully, and never
incline more than 45°.

Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which
becomes apparent within one year after purchase will be re-
paired by free repair or replacement provided the appliance has
