Operation
8.1
Charge battery
Charge the battery at an ambient temperature of 4 °C to 40°C.
* = not included in the scope of delivery!
1.
Push the battery* into the battery mount (1) as far as it will go.
2.
Plug the mains plug into the socket.
As soon as the charging process starts, the green LED (3)
flashes.
3.
LED (3) lights up green when charging is complete. The battery
is ready for use.
ATTENTION
–
If the red LED flashes, the battery has overheated and cannot
be charged.
–
IF the red and green LEDs flash, the battery is defective.
4.
Pull the battery* out of the battery mount (1).
5.
Wait at least 15 min until a new charging process. Therefore,
pull the mains plug out of the outlet.

Electrical connection
The connection complies with the applicable VDE and DIN pro-
visions. The customer's mains connection as well as the exten-
sion cable used must also comply with these regulations.
9.1
Important information
If the battery overheats, the charging process is terminated and the
battery charger is switched off. After the battery has cooled down,
the charging process can be resumed.
