10. SWING UP/ DOWN
Press t he SWING UP / DOWN but ton to choose t he posit ion of
t he horizont al airflow louvers.

NOTE:
• It is advisable not to keep t he horizont al air flow louver in t he
downward posit ion for an extended period of t ime in COOL or
DRY mode. This may cause condensate water to form on t he
louver.
• When t urning t he unit on, t he remote cont rol will automat ically
ret urn t he louver to t he previous set swing posit ion. When
t urning t he unit off, t he louver will rot ate to t he full open
posit ion prior to closing.
11. SWING SIDE/ SIDE Button (select models)
Press t he LOUVER SIDE/ SIDE but ton to choose t he posit ion of
t he vert ical airflow louvers.

NOTE:
• When t he humidity is very high, t he condensate water may occur
on t he air out let if all vert ical louvers are adjusted too far to t he
left or right .
• When t urning t he unit on, t he remote cont rol will automat ically
ret urn t he louver to t he previous set posit ion.
12. DISPLAY
Turns on and off t he indoor display. Press t he DISPLAY but ton
10 t imes wit hin 5 seconds to display t he ambient temperat ure.
The indoor unit will beep 2 t imes when t he set t ing is successful.
Press t he DISPLAY but ton 10 t imes wit hin 5 seconds again to
display t he set temperat ure. The indoor unit will beep 4 t imes
when t he set t ing is successful. The default display temperat ure
is t he set temperat ure.
13. SLEEP
Press t he SLEEP but ton, t he heat pump will operate t he sleep
funct ion, t he display light will be t urned off after 20 seconds.
The cont rol logics are as following running in different mode.
1. COOL or DRY modes
One hour after SLEEP mode begins, t he temperat ure
set point will increase 1°F (0.5°C). 2 hours after beginning
sleep mode t he set point will increase 1°F (0.5°C). Seven
hours after beginning sleep mode, t he set point will decrease
1°F (0.5°C). At t he eight h hour t he unit will be back to t he
original set point . This feat ure helps wit h achieving maximum
efficiency and comfort while you sleep. See t he image below.

2. Heat Mode
One hour after SLEEP mode st art s, t he set t ing temperat ure
will decrease 2°F. After 2 hours, t he set t ing temperat ure
will decrease an addit ional 2°F. After 5 hours, t he set t ing
temperat ure will increase 1°F. After 8 hours, t he unit will run
according to t he init ial set t ing temperat ure. This feat ure helps
wit h achieving maximum efficiency and comfort t he your
feeling while you sleep.

t he unit operates in corresponding sleep mode adapted to t he
automat ically selected operat ion mode.
NOTE:
•
When t he unit is set to sleep mode, t he fan speed will be
set to low speed and cannot be changed.
•
When t he TIMER funct ion is set , t he sleeping funct ion
cannot be set . If t he sleeping funct ion has been set and
t he user set s t he TIMER funct ion, t he sleeping funct ion will
be canceled and t he unit will be set to t he t imer funct ion.
