OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATING MODES
Cool Mode
•
Choose cool mode to set the cooling function.
•
Use the temperature control buttons to choose the
desired temperature.
•
Use the fan button to choose the desired fan
speed.
•
The temperature can be set within a range of 16 -
30°C (61 - 86°F).
•
The exhaust hose should be connected to the
window kit.
NOTE: The compressor will cycle on and off, and also
change operation speed to keep the room at the set
level of comfort. When the compressor turns off, the
fan will run in a cycle of 3 minutes on and 17 minutes
off until the compressor turns on.
Dry Mode
•
Choose dry mode to remove excess moisture from
the air. Water will condense inside the appliance
and drain out the back.
•
The humidity level will be automatically set and
can not be modified in dry mode.
•
The display will show the the set temperature.
•
Continuous drain hose (included) should be
installed on the upper drain outlet.
NOTE: When the set temperature is more than 2
degrees below the room temperature, the fan speed
can be selected.
Fan Mode
•
Fan mode can be used to run the fan without
engaging the cooling or dehumidifying functions.
•
Use the fan button to choose the desired fan
speed.
•
The exhaust hose does not need to be connected
to the window kit.
QUIET
Quiet mode will ensure the most quiet mode of
operation to satisfy the set temperature and provide
room comfort in the space to be cooled. It is normal
for the unit to operate for a longer period at lower
energy consumption levels to achieve this. It is normal
to hear the unit switching speeds if it senses the room
becoming uncomfortable.
•
Press mode button to exit quiet mode and switch
to next mode.
•
Press fan speed button to exit quiet mode and
switch to next fan speed.
•
Press quiet button to exit quiet mode and switch
back to the original mode and fan speed.
NOTE: Quiet feature is only effective in cool mode.
TIMER
Auto Off
1. When the air conditioner is turned on, press the
timer button to activate the auto off timer.
2. Press the temperature control buttons to change
the set time in 1 hour increments up to 24 hours
Auto On
1. When the air conditioner is turned off, press the
timer button to activate the auto on timer.
2. Press the temperature control buttons to change
the set timer in 1 hour increments up to 24 hours.
NOTE: The timer will not cycle the air conditioner on
and off indefinitely. The auto on and auto off timers
will function one time and then the air conditioner will
return to regular operation.
When setting the timer, the display will revert back to
showing the temperature if there is no input within 5
seconds.
Whether the air conditioner is on or off, set the timer
to -- or press the power button to cancel the timer.
AUTO RESTART
If the air conditioner loses power unexpectedly, it will
resume the previous settings once power is restored.
AUTO SWING
•
Press the swing button to switch between three
angles of the louver and auto swing.
•
During auto swing, the louver will swing up and
down automatically.
•
Press the swing button again to stop the automatic
louver swing at the highest angle.
NOTE: Please do not adjust the louver manually.
