Important Safety Information
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including childern) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Care should be taken when using the appliance in a room with the following persons: infants,
children, elderly people,and people not senstive to humidity.
Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Maintenance
and repair requiring the assistance of other skilled personnel shall be carried out under the
supervision of a person competent in the use of flammable refrigerants. You should never try to
take apart or repair the appliance by yourself.
DO NOT modify the length of the power cord or use an extension cord to power the appliance.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Do not operate the appliance with a
damaged cord or plug. Discard the appliance or return it to an authorized service facility for
examination and/or repair.
DO NOT share a single outlet with other electrical appliances. Improper power supply can cause
fire or electrical shock.
Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the power cord with throw rugs, runners,
or similar coverings. Do not route the power cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the power
cord away from high traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over. Do not place heavy objects
on the power cord and take care that the cord is not compressed.
In a thunderstorm, the power must be cut to avoid damage to the appliance due to lightning.
Do not insert or pull out the power cord with wet hands.
Prior to cleaning or other maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the power
supply.
Disconnect the power if strange sounds, smells, or smoke comes from the appliance.
The rating plate is located on the rear or side of the appliance and contains electrical and other
technical data specific to this appliance. Do not exceed the rating of the power outlet or connection
device.
Flammable refrigerant R32 is used within this appliance.
When maintaining or disposing the appliance, the refrigerant (R32) shall be recovered properly
and shall not discharge to the air directly.
Compliance with national gas regulations shall be observed.
Any person who is involved with working on or breaking into a refrigerant circuit should hold a
current valid certification from an industry-accredited assessment authority, which authorises their
competenece to handle refrigerants safely in accordance with an industry recognised assessment
specification.
Examples for such working procedures are: breaking into the refrigerant circuit, opening of sealed
components, opening of ventilated enclosures.
No open fire or device like switch that may generate a spark or arcing shall being near the
appliance to avoid causing ignition of the flammable refrigerant used. Please follow the
instructions carefully to store or maintain the appliance to prevent mechanical damage from
occurring.
