11.4 Installation for recirculating air mode
The installation of activated charcoal filters is necessary for recirculating air mode. The
air extraction performance is reduced when the activated charcoal filter is installed.
The intaken air is first passed through the grease filter and then through an additional
activated charcoal filter and returned to the kitchen area as clean air. The air outlet
openings on the flue must be open so that the cleaned air can flow freely into the room.
When working with recirculating air mode, ensure that the ventilation slots (a) are not
covered and that the cleaned air can flow freely into the room (Fig. 4).

Installing the activated charcoal filter
1. Push the catches of the filter grille inwards.
2. Carefully remove the filter grille.
3. Hook the activated charcoal filter into the pins of the fan system and turn in
clockwise direction until it engages.
4. Check that the filter is securely fitted.
5. Replace the filter grille.
