OPERATING MANUAL
Strictly follow the instructions provided by the battery manufacturer.
Danger of gas exhalation and leakage of corrosive liquids.
Danger of fire: do not approach with open flames.
6.6 Battery charge level gauge
The digital display in the console indicates the approximate battery charge level.
7 GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
1 Follow these regulations carefully to avoid harm to the operator and damage to the vehicle;
2 The vehicle must be used exclusively by authorized and trained personnel;
3 When using the vehicle, the operator must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
4 Read the labels on the vehicle with attention. Never cover them for any reason and always immediately replace them if they are
damaged;
5 Before using the vehicle check all the controls, the indicators and any instruments in order to employ it properly;
6 Before using the vehicle make sure that all doors and covers are positioned as shown in this operating and maintenance
manual. This manual is also available in the restricted area of our web site;
7 Make sure the surface you clean can afford the vehicle weight;
8 When operating the vehicle be careful of other persons and of children in particular;
9 The storage temperature must be between -25°C and +55°C;
10 Operating conditions: room temperature between 0'C and 40"C with relative humidity between 30 and 95%;
11 Do not place any liquid containers on the vehicle;
12 The vehicle can not draw or be drawn in any way, nor in private places, much less in streets or public places;
13 Never use the vehicle to transport people;
14 Never use acid solutions which could damage the vehicle and/or persons;
15 Never use the vehicle in an explosive environment;
16 Use a powder fire extinguisher in case of fire. Do not use water;
17 Do not use the vehicle in the rain;
18 Do not open covers and protections while the vehicle is working;
19 Do not hit against shelving or scaffolding;
20 Suit operating speed to traction conditions;
21 Do not use the appliance on surfaces with a slope higher than the one indicated on the name-plate;
22 Start, turn and stop carefully. Slow down before bends, slippery and irregular surfaces. Avoid climbing objects and holes. Be
careful when reversing in slop;
23 Whenever the vehicle has operating troubles, check to make sure these are not due to insufficient ordinary maintenance. If this
is not the case then enquire with your nearest TSM SRL. service center;
24 When replacing vehicle parts always ask for ORIGINAL spare parts from your Authorized TSM SRL. Agent and/or Retailer;
25 Use only original TSM SRL components;
26 In case of danger engage the emergency switch on the left side of the console;
27 All maintenance operations have be carried out with the vehicle completely switched off;
28 Restore all electrical connections after terminating any maintenance procedures;
29 Never remove guards that require tools for removal;
30 Never wash the vehicle with direct or pressurized jets of water or with corrosive substances;
31 Have your nearest TSM SRL service center check the vehicle every 200 operating hours;
32 Parking. Turn the ignition key to position "OFF". Block the wheel with wedges if the vehicle is on a slope. Remove the battery
when you do not use the vehicle for a long time. Remove the key;
33 Check the connector wear and tear; if the connector is damaged, replace it before using the vehicle; the replacement must be
done by authorized personal only;
34 Dispose of consumables in accordance with currently applicable laws and codes;
35 In the case of demolition, it is important to divide all the materials and give them to qualified and authorized operators, in
accordance with currently applicable laws and codes;
36 Batteries contain hazardous and dangerous materials that must be disposed in accordance to currently laws concerning
hazardous and noxious substances and given to qualified operators;
37 Do not leave the working vehicle unmanned. Make sure that children or not qualified staff do not use it;
38 The vehicle is not intended for use by people (including children) with limited physical, sensoric or mental capacities or lack of
experience and/or skills, unless such people are accompanied and supervised by a person in charge of their safety or if they
received precise instructions on the use of the vehicle.
39 Do not use the vehicle in dangerous areas;
40 Do not use too loose garments or accessories that may get entangled in the moving parts;
41 During the usage the operator has to be in the right working position. Only one operator at a time can use the vehicle;
42 Apart from the safety instructions included in the present manual, respect and observe the general safety rules for the sector
and the currently regulations concerning the environment protection;
43 If the operator do not have the necessary skills to use the vehicle or he is in a psychophysical condition altered by chemical
substances (ex. alcol, drugs, medicines) must be suitably stopped;
