INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 GENERAL INFORMATION
Instructions for use
Prior to starting up the tourniquet device, carefully read
and observe the instructions for use with the safety
instructions.
This product must only be used by medically trained per-
sonnel.
Intended use
The Tourniquet 2500 is a pneumatic tourniquet for main-
taining a safe bloodless field during surgery on an extrem-
ity with a single cuff.
Place of use: Hospitals, operating theatres and medical
practices.
Indication / contraindication
The device only presents indications or contraindications
in connection with other medical devices, e.g. tourniquet
cuffs. These are listed with the corresponding medical
device.
Requirements for the medical device
The medical device meets the essential requirements of
the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council
about medical devices 93/42/EEC and 2007/47/EC.
INFORMATION
Disposal within the EU: Do not dispose of electrical

or electronic equipment in household waste. Disposal
within the EU must be carried out in accordance with
Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE Directive). The manufac-
turer will accept the electrical devices for disposal.
Disposal outside of the EU: The devices and spare parts
•
must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable
local provisions.
More extensive maintenance measures that are not
•
described in these instructions may only be done by the
manufacturer or the authorised service agent.

CAUTION
Does NOT contain a pressure hose.
Mounting types:
Tourniquet cuffs and other accessories are not included
in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.
