TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: The rain sensor doesn't work properly
Solution: The rain sensor must be connected to one of the Algarve's controls.
∫ You can then test the rain sensor by placing your hand on the sensor.
∫ The roof should move (close) after a few seconds.
∫ After 30 sec., the surface area of the sensor should be noticeably warmer.
∫ Release the sensor.
∫ The sensor should also cool down again, if it remains hot, it also means that it is defective and it may be that it always indicates
that it is raining even though it is definitely dry.
Problem: LED blades sometimes work and sometimes they do not
Solution: Check the battery of the transmitter first. Replace the battery if necessary. Water could have entered the electrical
cabinet of the motor and/or LED control board. This is best checked by your installer.
In principle, water infiltration in the electrical cabinet of the control unit is only possible if the cables were pleated too short
or the cable is too far out of the box (without any cable gland around it), resulting in a small gap/opening and possible water
infiltration.
Problem: There is
water infiltration in the
glass blades
Solution: This water may have
entered the glass blade along the
drip nose. You can solve this by
properly sealing the glass blade
with silicone at the drip nose.
