TROUBLESHOOTING
Use the inspections in the table below if the tool does not operate normally. If this does not remedy the problem, consult
your dealer or the HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
PROBLEM
Stapler doesn't operate.
Stapler operates, but no staple is
driven.
Skipping staples.
Intermittent feed.
Staples jam.
Driven staple is bent.
CHECK METHOD
Stapler not enough pressed against
workpiece.
Trigger not enough pulled.
More than 4 seconds pass from push
lever ON to trigger ON.
Trigger lock button (Trigger lock
function) is "Lock" position.
Damaged internal electronics.
Magazine is dirty.
Check for a jam.
Driver blade worn or damaged?
Check for proper staples.
Check for proper staples.
Staple feeder damaged?
Feed spring weakened or damaged?
Driver blade worn or damaged?

CORRECTION
Hold stapler firmly and press to the
workpiece completely.
Pull the trigger firmly.
Make sure that less than 4 seconds
pass between push lever ON and
trigger ON.
Set trigger lock button to "Unlock"
position. (Refer to Fig. 6)
Contact HiKOKI for replacement.
Blow and wipe clean the magazine.
Clear a jam (refer to Fig. 12).
Contact HiKOKI for replacement.
Use only recommended staples.

Replace staple feeder.
