1.15. Battery
This motorcycle is equipped with a Lithium-Iron-
Phosphate battery installed under the driver's
saddle. This element is not serviceable and it
ensures long duration when used properly. We
recommend to strictly follow the operating instruc-
tions provided by the manufacturer.
If the battery seems to be run-down (causing elec-
trical problems or a difficult starting), recharge it
as soon as possible by connecting the charger to
the connector placed on the right side of the
motorcycle. Remember that the battery runs
down more quickly if your motorcycle is equipped
with additive electrical accessories.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
This type of battery offers a high level of
safety if its internal components are
protected so as not to compromise their
function.
Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light or other heat sources.
Keep the battery away from water,
sparks and naked flames.
If you suspect the battery external case
is damaged, replace it.
Avoid any contact between the internal
components of the battery and your
eyes, skin and membranes. In the event
of an accidental contact, seek medical
assistance immediately.
Always have the battery replaced by
your local MV Agusta dealer.
