6. FUNCTIONS AND CLEANING
It is advisable to turn the machine off at the mains before starting any cleaning processes.
Do not wash the machine using water jets and/or water at high pressure.
You should clean at least once daily the components in the juice squeezing zone (cup, squeezing
ball, drip tray, filter, blade and cover), following the cleaning instructions.
The product provided by the machine is citrus juice with a pH level of 4.5, which is not considered
as being a potentially dangerous foodstuff.
6.1. INITIAL START UP
Choose the right cup and ball size, depending on the size of the oranges you intend to juice, modify
the classifier position (Figs. 6-7) and check whether you need to add the rubber accessory. See
chapter on ACCESSORIES.
Fit all parts in the correct position. See assembly in the section on CLEANING.
Once the machine is switched on, the display will show either a number between 1 and 50 or the
letter C. The number indicates the quantity of fruits to be squeezed, while the letter C sets the
machine to squeeze continuously for approximately 30 minutes.
Depending on the number of oranges that you want to squeeze, keep pressing the SELECT button
and the number on the display will increase from 1 to 50, and then the letter C will appear
(1,2,3,..........48,49,50,C,1,2,3.....). If you keep the SELECT button depressed for more than 2
seconds, the number will decrease.
Perform this operation until the desired quantity appears.
Once a quantity is selected and an operation is performed, the machine will store this information
(even if it is shut off) until a new selection is made.
When the ON button on the panel is pressed, the machine will squeeze the number of oranges
shown on the display. During the process, the number of oranges left to squeeze will appear on the
display. If you want to repeat the operation, simply press the ON button. To stop the process, press
the STOP button.
6.2. STOPPING
With the machine running, press the Stop button. The display will show the Timer and the word Stop
and the machine will stop when the two halves of the orange have been squeezed and the cup has
reached the vertical position. The display will then show the number of the previous selection.
