INTENDED USE
This torque wrench is used for the tighten and checking of threaded fittings to a previously specified
and set torque. Use the tool set only for the purpose specified. Any other use may lead to damage,
personal injury and to termination of the warranty.
SAFETY NOTES

Read these instructions carefully before operating the torque wrench.

Use the torque wrench only for torques that are within the adjustment possibility.
•
This torque wrench serves exclusively for the manual tightening of threaded fittings. Do not
use it for undoing or for other purposes.
•
It can only be activated when the wrench is turned clockwise.
•
Defective screws, nuts or sockets my break suddenly. To avoid injury, keep a steady stand
and do not use the torque wrench at dangerous points or in the vicinity of rotating machinery.
•
When used incorrectly, this wrench will not prevent high torques, it is not a torque limiter. Find
out how the different torque values "feel". This allows you to reduce damage and personal
injury which could be caused by tightening with an unintentionally high torque.
•
Hold the torque wrench only on the handle and do not use a pipe as extension bar.
•
There are no components to be maintained by the user inside the torque wrench. Dismantling
of the torque wrench or modifications to it may lead to loss of accuracy and termination of the
warranty.
CALIBRATION
This torque wrench is certified to have been calibrated prior to shipment to the accuracy of ±4%.
Periodically, all torque wrenches should be checked for accuracy. This should be done at least once a
year or every 10.000 torque application cycles, whichever comes first.
MAINTENANCE / CLEANING
The torque wrench is largely maintenance-free. If the wrench has not been used for a longer time,
operate it several times at low torque to allow internal lubricant to recoat, through this the lubricant is
evenly distributed inside again. Clean only by wiping. Do not use any type of cleaner which may affect
the special internal lubricant with which this wrench is packed at the factory. Never immerse the
torque wrench in liquids of any kind.
