ALLEN KEY HOLDER
A 5 mm Allen key is supplied with your saw. This can be stored in the Allen key holder. The holder is at the back of the saw
handle. It is convenient for storing the Allen key when it is not being used.
5.3
LOCK BUTTON
Your saw has a lock button which reduces the risk of starting the saw accidentally. The lock button is located on the handle
above the trigger. You must push the lock button in order to operate the trigger. The lock resets each time the trigger is
released. NOTE: You can push the lock button on either the left or right-hand side.
5.4
TRIGGER
To turn your saw ON, push the lock button and pull the trigger. Release the trigger to turn your saw OFF.
5.5
VARIABLE SPEED
This saw has a variable speed trigger that increases the saw speed as the pressure is increased on the trigger and reduces
the saw speed as you reduce the pressure.
5.6
APPLICATIONS
(Only use your saw for the following purposes)
Cutting all types of wood (timber, plywood, wood panels, chipboard and hard woods).
Cutting hardboard and plastic.
Cutting plasterboard.
Cutting metals such as thin sheet steel, pipes, steel rods, aluminum, brass, and copper.
When using your reciprocating saw continuously, the batteries in your battery pack will become hot. You should let a hot
battery pack cool down for approximately 30 minutes before attempting to recharge.
WARNING:
Always remove the battery pack from your saw when you are fitting parts, making adjustments, attaching or
removing a blade, cleaning or when you are not using your saw. Removing the battery pack will prevent the saw
starting accidentally and causing serious personal injury.
