TO INSTALL THE SAW BLADE
See Figure 3.
Remove the battery pack. See Figure 2.
WARNING:
Failure to remove the battery pack from the saw could result in the saw starting accidentally and cause serious
personal injury.
Remove the 5 mm Allen key supplied with your saw from the Allen key holder. NOTE: The Allen key holder is at the
back of the saw handle. See Figure 1.
Slacken the blade clamp screw enough to allow the saw blade to be inserted between the blade clamp and the blade
holder. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the blade clamp screw from the blade clamp when installing or removing
the blade.
Align the hole in the shank of the blade and blade clamp with the tenon in the saw bar and engage both over the tenon.
Tighten the blade clamp screw.
Remove the Allen key and store it in the Allen key holder.
Replace the battery pack.

OPERATION
WARNING:
Always remove the battery pack from your saw when you are fitting parts, making adjustments, attaching or
removing a blade, cleaning or when you are not using your saw. Removing the battery pack will prevent the saw
starting accidentally and causing serious personal injury.
NOTE: The blade clamp may stick to the blade holder, preventing the blades being fitted or removed. If this happens, loosen
the blade clamp screw with the Allen key and tap lightly on the end of the Allen key with a mallet. See Figure 4.

SHOE

The shoe on the reciprocating saw pivots in both directions. The height can also be adjusted to use different parts of the
blade.
6.2
ADJUSTING THE SHOE:
Remove the battery pack. See Figure 2.
WARNING:
Failure to remove the battery pack from the saw could result in the saw starting accidentally and cause serious
personal injury.
Loosen the set screw in the gear housing using the Allen key supplied with the saw. See Figure 5.
Position the shoe as required.
Tighten the set screw. Do not overtighten the screw or use a lever on the Allen key.
Remove the Allen key and store it in the Allen key holder.
