8. If necessary, also pull the respectives sides brushes levers (CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS);
WARNING
– Do not try to sweep cords, strings, wires, binding tapes, sticks, etc. longer than 15 cm as this may
wrap on the brushes, damaging them.
9. If necessary to avoid the dust creation by the sides brushes, switch the frontal anti-dust system (CONTROLS AND
INSTRUMENTS);
10. On the ST gasoline version machine to vacuum with the hose, close the vauum hose hopper with the lever (CONTROLS
AND INSTRUMENTS - ST VERSION), unhook the hose and vacuum. To continue to sweep bring back the lever
(CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS - ST VERSION) to the original position;
11. On the BT battery version machine, to vacuum with the hose, close the vauum hose hopper with the lever (CONTROLS
AND INSTRUMENTS - BT VERSION), in consolle switch on the vacuum switch to the hose (CONTROLS AND
INSTRUMENTS – BT VERSION) unhook the hose and vacuum. To continue to sweep bring back the lever (CONTROLS
AND INSTRUMENTS - BT VERSION), in consolle switch on the vacuum switch to the central brush;
NB: When the operator vacuums with the hose, having closed the vacuum hopper with the lever (CONTROLS AND
INSTRUMENTS), the material collected remains inside the vacuum hopper (CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS). By reopening
the vacuum hopper with the same lever the waste collected enters the main hopper (MACHINE COMPONENTS);
12. When the hopper is full, the operator has to proceed to empty it. It is recommended to stop the machine and switch on the
filter shaker (Nr. 13 or 10 table CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS) for a few seconds before removing the hopper;
13. During the emptying phase, it is important to:
wear gloves and mask possibly to protect the respiratory airways from the dust;
Unload the garbage on a suitable place;
Comply with environmental regulations and waste disposals;
Avoid the presence of people in proximity of the unloading area.
14. If a waste bag has been used for the collection, simply turn the main brush off, remove the bag and insert a new one;
WARNING
–Before switching the machine on check all controls and safety devices to use it in the most appropriate
manner.
Starting and steer gently. Slow down before curves, the slipperies and uneven surfaces. Do not climb over objects,
avoid potholes along the way. Pay close attention to swerve on slopes.
WARNING
–If during the work there were any problems, leave the forward/backward advancement lever and use the
emergency button. Turn the ignition key to position "OFF". These commands will lock every part of the machine
movement. To resume work, once the problem has been solved, raise the emergency button and turn the key to
position "ON".
WARNING
– On the BT battery version machine, when the battery level charge is low, the brush motors and the
suction switch off automatically; it is necessary therefore to recharge batteries as soon as possible. There remains a
residual charge for moving the machine to the charging point.
10 OTHERS OPERATIONS
10.1 Filter shaker
For shakering the filter, press the switch on the console. This operation allows the operator to download the accumulated dust
inside the hopper.
10.2 Waste quantity control inside the hopper
It is possible to control the filling of the waste hopper. In this case follow the procedure for unloading.
10.3 Vacuum cut
Close to wet surfaces or when cleaning filters, the vacuum suction has to be closed through the vacuum switch on the console
(CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS - BT VERSION), otherwise on the ST gasoline version machine by closing the lever of
vacuum hose hopper (CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS - ST VERSION).
10.4 Advice for the best use of the machine
Select the speed of the machine depending on the amount of waste to be collected;
For every 10 minutes of work activate the filter shaker according to the described methods.
10.5 Use of ramps
For a smooth passage of the central brush group on the step to overcome, the ramps should be placed on the floor with an
outside distance of 1100mm.
