10.6 Connecting/Disconnecting Chariot Attachment
When connecting or disconnecting the chariot be sure to turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position. This will prevent accidental
movement of the machine in the case of inadvertently bumping the forward/reverse lever.
11 START & STOP
11.1 Start
To start the machine follow carefully the following instructions:
On the ST gasoline version machine:

Pull the choke knob (Nr. 5 table CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS - ST VERSION);

Accelerate slightly through the accelerator lever;

Turn the ignition key in position "ON" and hold it until the engine starts;
WARNING – Do not insist for the ignition of the machine for more than 5 seconds at a time on the starter motor.

As the engine warms return the choke knob in the rest position;

Bring the throttle lever to the desired speed.
On the BT battery version machine:

Turn the ignition key in position "ON";

Operate the desired commands.
11.2 Stop
To stop the machine follow carefully the following instructions:
On the ST gasoline version machine:

Set the accelerator to idle and then turn the ignition key to position "OFF";

Apply the hand brake. Block the wheels with two wedges if the machine is on a slope;

Remove the key;

Raise the main brush and the side brushes using its levers;

Empty the waste container.
On the BT battery version machine:

Turn the ignition key to position "OFF";

Apply the hand brake. Block the wheels with two wedges if the machine is on a slope;

Remove the key;

Raise the main brush and the side brushes using its levers;

Empty the waste container.
WARNING
– When the machine has a long stop disconnect the batteries. These operations must be carried
out wearing gloves to protect hands and make sure there are no objects or people in the vicinity.
12 MAINTENANCE
WARNING
– These operations must be performed with the machine completely switched off, the ignition
key has to be in position "OFF" and in full compliance with safety regulations. Wear protective gloves and
