Plan cleaning in advance:
11. Plan the cleaning route. Arrange long and straight runs with a minimum of stopping or starting.
12. Allow a small amount of broom path overlap to ensure complete coverage.
13. Avoid making sharp turns, bumping into posts, or scraping the side of the machine.
Filling the DustGuard™ system water tank (optional)
14. Remove the plug (29) to reach the filler neck.
15. Fill the tank (4) with clean water. Do not fill the tank completely, leave a few centimeters from the edge.
MAIN BROOM
Several different main brooms are available for this machine. To select the best broom for the surface and litter to be swept, contact
a Advance Retailer.
NOTE
To install the main broom, refer to Main Broom Maintenance paragraph.
OPERATING THE MACHINE
Proterra™ is a rider-type automatic floor sweeping machine. The controls were designed to be user friendly. For single pass
sweeping the operator can simply lower the main broom.

WARNING!
When steering, avoid abrupt direction changes, pay careful attention and drive the machine at slow speed,
especially when the hopper is full or when operating on inclines.
Drive the machine slowly on inclines. Use the brake pedal (35) to control machine speed while descending
