@ Remote control sensor window
@ POWER STANDBY/ON OFF switch
OFF
: When set to the OFF position, the main power
flow is cut and the unit is no longer fully
operational.
STANDBY/ON : When set to the STANDBY/ON position, power is
supplied and the unit becomes operational. The
unit can be switched between STANDBY and ON
via remote control unit.
@ STANDBY indicator
Lights to indicate standby; goes out when POWER switch of the
remote control unit is pushed.
When in STANDBY, power to the audio circuitry is cut. The
control circuit however remains powered, so that the remote
control operation is still possible.
@ GAIN SELECTOR
This enables 2-step power amp gain switching between 26 dB
and 40 dB. 26 dB is the usual setting for audio reproduction with
high S/N ratio. Switch to 40 dB if volume level is insufficient.
NOTE:
If you switch from 26 dB to 40 dB during operation, volume level
suddenly becomes very high. When switching from 26 dB to 40 dB,
be careful the volume level setting isn't too high.
@ VOLUME knob
Adjusts volume level.
® Power indicator
This stays in orange for 6 seconds after switching ON and then
turns red. The sound is muted while in orange.
@ INPUT SELECTOR
Use this to select between
TAPE
2/CDR, TAPE
1/DAT, CD,
PHONO, TUNER, and LINE, depending on which component
you want to listen to. Because input switching is by relay, there's
no sound for about 1 second after switching.
REC OUT switch
Switch this ON, and the source selected with the input selector
is output through the REC OUT jacks. However, if you select
TAPE 1/DAT there is no output from the TAPE 1/REC jacks, and
if you select TAPE 2/CDR there is no output from the TAPE 2/REC
jacks.

normalement. L'amplificateur peut étre placé en
veille (STANDBY) ou sous tension (ON) grace a
la télécommande.

ll s'éclaire lorsque l'amplificateur est en veille; il s'éteint lorsque
vous appuyez sur |l'interrupteur POWER de la télécommande.
Lorsque !'appareil est en veille (STANDBY), les circuits audio ne
sont pas alimentés. Par contre, les circuits de commande le sont
de maniére que la télécommande puisse agir.
@® Sélecteur de gain (GAIN SELECTOR)
Il permet de choisir le gain de I'étage de puissance, a savoir: 26
dB ou 40 GB. En principe fe gain de 26 dB doit étre employé pour
obtenir un fort rapport signal/bruit, le gain de 40 dB étant
réservé aux cas oli la puissance de sortie s'avére insuffisante.
REMARQUE:
Si, le gain étant égal a 26 dB, vous adoptez le gain de 40 dB, le
niveau de sortie croit brutalement. Avant de procéder a cette
opération, assurez-vous que le niveau de sortie n'est pas trop
élevé.
® Bouton VOLUME
ll permet le réglage du niveau d'écoute.
© Témoin d'alimentation
Ce témoin est de couleur orangé pendant les 6 secondes qui
suivent la mise sous tension, puis de couleur rouge. Aucun son
ne peut 6tre émis lorsqu'il est de couleur orangé.
@ Sélecteur d'entree (INPUT SELECTOR)
Vous utiliserez ce sélecteur pour choisir la source que vous
désirez écouter: TAPE 2/CDR, TAPE 1/DAT, CD, PHONO, TUNER,
ou LINE. Etant donné que la commutation de I'entrée est réalisée
par un relais, aucun son n'est émis pendant environ 1 seconde
apres chaque nouvelle sélection de source.
Interrupteur REC OUT
En plagant ce sélecteur sur la position ON, le signal de la source
choisie au moyen du sélecteur d'entrée se trouve appliqué sur
les prises REC OUT. Toutefois, si vous avez choisi TAPE 1/DAT
ou TAPE 2/CDR, aucun signal n'est appliqué sur les prises TAPE
1/REC ou TAPE 2/REC respectivement.
