INSTALLATION
LOCATION

Install the amplifier in a well-ventilated location where it will
not be exposed to high temperature or humidity.
Do not install the amplifier in a location which is exposed to
direct rays of the sun, or near to hot appliances or radiators.
Excessive heat can adversely affect the cabinet and internal
components. Installation of the amplifier in a damp or dusty
environment may result in malfunction, or accident. (Also avoid
installation near cookers etc., where the amplifier may be
exposed to smoke from oil, steam or heat.)
POWER-CORD CAUTION
Handle the power cord by the plug. Do not pull out the plug by
tugging the cord and never touch the power cord when your
hands are wet as this could cause a short circuit or electric
shock. Do not place the unit, a piece of furniture, etc., on the
power cord, or pinch the cord. Never make a knot in the cord or
tie it with other cords. The power cord should be routed such
that they are not likely to be stepped on. A damaged power cord
can cause fire or give you an electrical shock. Check the power
cord once in a while. When you find it damaged, ask your
nearest PIONEER authorized service center or your dealer for a
replacement.
MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL SURFACES
e Use a polishing cloth or dry cloth to wipe off dust and dirt.
eWhen the surfaces are very dirty, wipe with a soft cloth dipped
in some neutral cleanser diluted five or six times with water,
and wrung out well, and then wipe again with a dry cloth. Do
not use furniture wax or cleaners.
eNever use thinners, benzine, insecticide sprays or other
chemicals on or near this unit, since these will corrode the
surfaces.

Ne pas installer l''amplificateur dans un endroit qui est exposé
aux rayons directs du soleil, ni pres d'appareils chauds ou de
radiateurs. Une chaleur excessive peut affecter le coffret et les
composants internes. L'installation de l'amplificateur dans un
environnement
humide
ou poussiéreux peut provoquer un
fonctionnement défectueux ou un accident. (Eviter également
une installation prés de cuisiniéres, etc. ot l''amplificateur peut
&tre exposé 4 des fumées graisseuses, de la vapeur ou a la
chaleur.)
NOTE IMPORTANTE SUR LE CABLE
D'ALIMENTATION
Tenir le cable d'alimentation par la fiche. Ne pas débrancher la
prise en tirant sur le cable et ne pas toucher le cable avec les
mains mouillées. Cela risque de provoquer un court-circuit ou
un choc électrique. Ne pas poser l'appareil ou un meuble sur le
cable. Ne pas pincer le cable. Ne pas faire de noeud avec le cable
ou l'attacher a d'autres. cables. Les cables d'alimentation doivent
étre posés de fagon a ne pas étre écrasés. Un cable abimé peut
provoquer un risque d'incendie ou un choc électrique. Vérifier
le cable d'alimentation de temps en temps. Contacter le service
aprés-vente PIONEER le plus proche ou le revendeur pour un
remplacement.
| ENTRETIEN DES SURFACES EXTERIEURES
e Utiliser un chiffon a reluire ou un chiffon sec pour enlever la
poussiere et la saleté.
eLorsque les surfaces sont trés sales, les essuyer avec un
chiffon doux imbibé d'un produit de nettoyage neutre dilué
dans cing ou six volumes
d'eau, assécher puis essuyer a
nouveau avec un chiffon sec. Ne pas utiliser de cire ou de
nettoyant pour meubles.
e@Ne jamais utiliser de diluants, de benzine, d'insecticides en
aérosol et autres produits chimiques sur ou prés de cet appareil,
car ils peuvent en corroder les surfaces.
