Mounting the Receiver Unit

Slide the bracket shoe of the receiver unit
into the camera's accessory shoe . A swivel
mount is featured which rotates a full 360 0 and
has clickstop settings at 30
0
intervals.

If your camera is a Contax RTS or Yashica
FR , insert the 8 plug of Connector Cord 830R
into the release jack of the receiver unit ; and ,
the R plug into the release socket on the
camera , winder or PMD . If your camera
features a threaded release socket (such as
the Contax 139 Quartz and later models) con-
nect the 8 plug of Connector Cord 830S in the
above manner; then screw the S plug into the
release socket on the camera body.
Caution: Always plug the connector cord into
the receiver unit before plugging it into the
camera or winder , etc .; otherwise , if the film is
advanced when connection is made , the shut-
ter will release irrespective of the setting of the
channel selector. Also , when disconnecting the
cord , unplug the camera side first.
