Operation
Set the timer to turn off one or more cooking zones.
Touch the zone selection key.
Touch the timer control key, the timer indicator will
start flashing. start flashing.
Set the time by touching the timer control. Tip: If
you touch the "-" or "+" timer control once, it will
decrease or increase by 1 minute. If you press and
hold the "-" or "+" timer control, it will decrease or
increase by 10 minutes. If it exceeds 99 minutes
the counter returns to 0.
By touching "-" and "+" at the same time, the timer
is cancelled, and the "--" will be shown in the mi-
nute display.
Once the time is set, the countdown will start
immediately. The display will show the remaining
time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 se-
conds.
The red dot next to the power level indicator will
illuminate indicating that the zone is selected. If
you wish to change the time after the timer has
been set, you must start from step 1.
If there is more than one cooking zone operating
at a time in this mode, the timer indicator will
display the lower time. (For example, if zone 1# has
a time of 5 minutes, and zone 2# has a time of 15
minutes, the timer indicator will display "5"). The
red dot next to the power level indicator will flash.
Once the timer expires, the corresponding zone
will be turned off. Then the new timer will be indi-
cated and the corresponding zone dot will flash..
When the timer expires, the corresponding cooking zone will
automatically turn off. The red dot next to the power level
indicator will light up indicating that the zone is selected. If you
wish to change the time after the timer has been set, you must
start from step 1.
