Do not let the starter grip snap back.
Guide it slowly back into the housing
so that the starter rope can rewind
properly.

Crank the engine until it fires. After
no more than five pulls, move the
choke lever (8) to e

Continue cranking.
As soon as the engine runs
Versions with bike handle:

Blip the throttle trigger – the engine
settles down to idle speed.
Versions with loop handle:

Squeeze throttle until the tongue
disengages – the engine settles
down to idle speed.

Make sure the carburetor is
correctly adjusted – the tool must
not move when the engine is idling.
Your machine is now ready for
operation.
To shut down the engine:

Move slide control in direction of
arrow ( h ) to STOP - $ or stop
switch to STOP / O
If the engine does not start

If you did not move the choke lever to e
quickly enough after the engine began to
fire, the combustion chamber is flooded.
Move the choke lever to e

Move the slide control, throttle
trigger lock and throttle trigger to the
starting throttle position.

Start the engine – 10 to 20 strong
pulls may be necessary.
If the engine still does not start

Move slide control or stop switch to
STOP / O.
Remove the spark plug boot (10).
