: Do not let the starter grip snap back.
Guide it slowly back into the housing
so that the starter rope can rewind
properly.

: Crank the engine until it fires. After
no more than five pulls, move the
choke lever (8) to e
: Continue cranking.
As soon as the engine runs
Versions with bike handle:
: Blip the throttle trigger – the engine
settles down to idle speed.
Versions with loop handle:
: Squeeze throttle until the tongue
disengages – the engine settles
down to idle speed.

Make sure the carburetor is
correctly adjusted – the tool must
not move when the engine is idling.
Your machine is now ready for
operation.
To shut down the engine:
: Move slide control in direction of
arrow ( h ) to STOP - $ or stop
switch to STOP / O
If the engine does not start
Choke lever
If you did not move the choke lever to e
quickly enough after the engine began to
fire, the combustion chamber is flooded.
Move the choke lever to e
:
: Move the slide control, throttle
trigger lock and throttle trigger to the
starting throttle position.
: Start the engine – 10 to 20 strong
pulls may be necessary.
If the engine still does not start

: Move slide control or stop switch to
STOP / O.
Remove the spark plug boot (10).
