BATTERY INSTALLATION

This device requires 2 AAA batteries, included. A small Phillips head
screwdriver (not included) is necessary to remove the battery cover.
When the battery power becomes low, the low battery symbol
will appear on the display. The thermometer can still be used during
this time, but the batteries should be replaced as soon as possible.
If the batteries expire completely, "Lo" will be displayed along with
the low battery symbol. Batteries must be replaced before the
thermometer can be used.
To install or replace the batteries, follow these steps:
1. Use a Phillips head
screwdriver to carefully
remove the screw and
battery cover.
2. Slide the battery cover off.
3. Carefully remove the old
batteries.
4. Insert the new batteries,
ensuring that the positive
and negative ends are
aligned correctly.
5. Replace the battery cover
and secure with screw.
6. Dispose of the expired
batteries in accordance
with local environmental
policies.
