7.2.3 Changing / rotating the clearing bar

When changing the clearing bar, be sure to use
only genuine replacement parts. To dismantle the
clearing bar undo the screws around the snow
plow blade and remove the counter pressure bar.
Replace the old clearing bar with a new one and
install in reverse order.
Important! After the one side of the clearing bar
has been worn down, it can be rotated by 180° for
continued use.
Damaged clearing bar or damaged blade
If, in spite of all caution, the blade comes into
contact with an obstacle, switch off the engine
immediately and actuate the locking brake. Check
the clearing bar and blade for damage. Damaged
or bent parts must be replaced or repaired. Impor-
tant: Risk of injury when working with a damaged
snowplow blade.
Worn or damaged skids
Replace strongly worn skids. It may be possible to
repair bent skids by aligning them.

8. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from being damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council offi ces.
