Operating Instructions
Low-temp mode
When the room temperature falls below 15°C for more than 10 minutes, the unit
will automatically enter 'Low-Temp' operation. During 'Low-Temperature'
operation, the fan will continue running with the selected fan speed. The com-
pressor will cycle on and off. The control will reset to normal operation when
the room temperature rises to 18°C or higher for 10 minutes.
Ultra-Low-temp mode
If ambient temperature is below 4°C for 4 minutes, the compressor and fan are
shut off and the four LED lights on the dehunidifier flash until the ambient
temperature is above 5°C for 8 minutes.
Defrost (De-icer) mode
When the room temperature is 15°C or lower, or the evaporator coil tempera-
ture falls below 2°C for more than 10 minutes, the unit will automatically enter
'Defrost mode'. Under these conditions, it is normal for frost and/or ice to form
on the water collection coil. In 'Defrost Mode', the compressor will be turned
off, but the fan will continue running with the selected fan speed. The compres-
sor remains off until the coil temperature rises to 9°C or higher for more than
10 minutes.

require oiling or lubrication.
Cleaning Exterior Parts
The molded plastic cover makes dry dusting quick and easy. If exterior parts
need to be cleaned use a mild soap and water solution. Be sure to unplug the
unit from its electrical supply before cleaning with soap and water.
Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter is removable and washable. In order to re-
move the air filter the water bucket must first be removed.
Remove the air filter from the dehumidifier body by pulling
out and down on the filter frame. For best cleaning results
the filter should be washed in a mild soap solution and
water. Allow the air filter to dry before reinstalling.
stall the filter in the dehumidifier. Torn or ripped filters
should be replaced with a new filter.
Battery Replacement
Remove the battery cover on the top rear of remote (arrow indicates open
direction). Insert two, AAA batteries. Note position of positive (+) and
negative (-). Positioning the batteries in the wrong direction may cause
damage to the remote control. Re-insert cover. When batteries are installed
while the dehumidifier is plugged in, operation will begin.
Wall Mounting / Table Top - Remote Control
The remote control can be mounted to the wall with the bracket included with
the remote. Level bracket on surface to be mounted at convenient height. Mark
holes of bracket on wall surface. Obtain required hardware from hardware store
to fasten bracket to particular surface type. i.e. cement, drywall, paneling, etc.
Once mounted onto the surface, the rear portion of the remote has receiver holes
to clip onto the holder pins protruding from bracket.
For table top convenience, use the fold-out stand located on the back of the
hand-held remote.
Before Seeking Service Do These Simple Checks
Condition – Unit is Not Working
Is the dehumidifier connected to the electrical supply?
Has a fuse or circuit breaker blown? (check the outlet with another appliance)
Is the humidity control setting in a low enough position to operate?
Is the water container full and needs to be emptied?
Condition - Moisture Removal Seems Insufficient
1. Are the dehumidifier vents and air filter clear of obstructions and dirt?
2. Is there sufficient airflow around the unit for the location selected?
3. Is the humidity control set low enough for the desired results?
Important – Allow 3 minutes before turning the dehumidifier on after it
stops to allow all internal functions to reset.
