ADJUSTING EXTENSION WINGS LEVEL
INSTRUCTIONS
Four set screws (A) Fig. 1 are included in the Unisaw hardware bag to
be used if the level of your extension wing should ever need adjustment.
KICKBACK HAZARD. Never adjust the wings so that the outside edges (B) Fig. 2 of the Unisaw's extension
wings are higher than the saw table (C). This situation could cause kickback and serious injury.
If the outside edges (B) Fig. 2 of the extension wings are below the saw
table level (C) Fig. 2, the extension wings can be adjusted. To adjust:
1. Slightly loosen the three hex screws (D) (1/4 revolution of
screw head) that attach the extension wings to the saw.
2. For one extension wing, insert two set screws at (E)
Fig. 3. (The inset in Fig. 3 is a close up for clarity.)
NOTE: If there are four holes in the wing (as shown in Fig. 3)
then the set screws (E) go in the two outer holes as shown.
3. Check the level of the extension wing to the table with a straight edge (F) Fig. 4 and tighten each set screw (E) Fig. 3 until
you achieve your desired level.
NOTE: Tighten set screws (E), maximum of 10 ft. lbs. of torque, Fig. 5 using the T-handle 5/32 hex wrench (G) Fig. 5
included with the Unisaw.
4. Tighten screws (D) loosened in STEP 1. Recheck level (Figure 4) and repeat STEPS 1-3 if desired level is not acheived.
5. Repeat for the other extension wing if needed.
